The name katanga comes from a region situated in the democratic republic of Congo ( formerly Zaire ). The region is important for hydroelectric power, considered to be rich mining region which suppliers cobalt ( 80% of the world ), copper, tin, radium, uranium and diamont.  
The reason of the name katanga is to promote the congolese jewellery globally
